What the schools say ...
'The Eatwell plate workshop was interesting and informative for all year groups from reception to year five. All of the girls thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the workshop and learnt a lot about the different food groups. Each class was able to decide what they would like to put into their pasta salad and use a knife to cut their chosen vegetables into smaller pieces. Bernadette had a very friendly nature and happily answered the girls questions.'Queens College Preparatory School, London

'A really big thank you for all you've done today with all the groups of children- they had a super time and I think got so much from your sessions (as well as a yummy dinner). It was all perfectly aimed at their stage and ability and it was lovely to see them enjoy the sessions so much!!! Many many thanks from all of the children and adults in Year 1 at Drayton Green Primary School.' Year 1 teacher
'The Cookie Tots programme is fundamental to a child's learning experience, and runs through and supports learning in all areas, helping children and families become confident and healthy.
It's a great opportunity for parents and their children to work together and prepare nutritious meals in a fun, practical and interactive way, also allowing families to have the skills and knowledge on how to improve their own eating habits and make positive changes to their lifestyles.'

'Bernadette's Christmas Cookery Workshop was fantastic. She had everything planned and tailored to capture the attention of the little ones, from a sing and dance session at the beginning, a doll called Katy Custard (that CM still talks about), picture cards to help visual recognition and appropriate equipment for young children.'

'My 9 year old daughter loved the whole experience. She found it very enjoyable, enjoyed eating what she had created and would love to do it all again!'

'My 10 year old daughter wanted a cookery party this year and I was sceptical how well it would work with 11 friends..... I needn't have worried at all! Bernie led a fabulous party and I have never seen 12 girls so engaged and concentrating on what they were doing... pizza and fudge was a great combination! I would really highly recommend this party and the girls absolutely loved creating their own product to take home. My daughter said it was her best party ever! '
Parent comment on Christmas Workshop, Greenford
'The workshops are fantastic classes for children to learn how to start cooking. My 7 year old son really enjoyed the Halloween and Christmas workshops. The kids have lots of fun learning about the science behind cooking as well as the cooking itself. I would recommend these classes to anyone.'
